The tide shifted low to high. A cool breeze began blowing towards me. It was in that moment that a famous Tony Robinson quote made complete sense. “Where focus goes energy flows.” My saltwater ears hadn’t fully comprehend this pungent message until the simple shift of tide and cool breeze made this expression tangible.
When the tides shift, aka pull out or push in, they tend to direct the wind in the same direction (on shore or off shore). Now this doesn’t happen every time, but it happens often enough that it has caught my attention. The focus of the tide towards shore causes the wind, the energy, to flow that way too. And vice versa, the focus of the tide outward/off-shore causes the wind, the energy, to flow that way.
After the lightbulb lit up and that “ah-hah” moment set in, I began to reflect on just where I put my attention, hmmmm… looks like I have some altering to do;)
