The ocean is to the Earth as the soul is to the body.
Filling basins, cracks, and valleys with life energy. Bringing this physical shell alive.
Interweaving through all parts, yet disturbing none.
In a cage, yet cage-free. Eager to flow- and to flow, it does with ease.
It has no limits, it is limitless. Connected to the whole, yet bound to one being? Never.
It shakes us and shapes us, yet is formless and uninhibited.
It nurtures us and gives us faith, yet stays a mystery. For if we were able to grasps its magnitude… it simply wouldn’t be.
It must stay free you see.
The human must be able to look at its depths, but not be able to see its bottom. To gaze out, but not be able to see where it ends. To look up, and realize that there is no ceiling. For if we were able to see its borders, if we were able to map it out so precisely, it would gain sense of itself, and then we… we would lose sense completely.
