The fog has settled in. I hear the crashing waves behind the draped curtain. Although I cannot see the ocean, I walk forward towards the familiar sound, trusting that each step I take will reveal enough to take another.
It’s in the fog that we must move onward. It’s during those times that we must trust the unseen ground will catch our steps. That what we can clearly see in our minds, exists before us, despite the haze.
“One step at a time,” I tell myself. The sound grows louder, confirming I am on the right path, heading in the right direction.
